Emory Panhellenic Council

EPC Fall 2020 Continuous Open Bidding Update

UPDATE: 8/19/20: Due to ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19, the Emory University has made the decision to facilitate all recruitment activities virtually.

Continuous Open Bidding
Continuous Open Bidding (COB) is an informal process in which eligible chapters are permitted to host recruitment events. COB occurs during the fall semester and serves as an opportunity for women to join participating National Panhellenic Conference sororities. Only eligible chapters may participate in COB so the number of chapters is subject to change each year. If a chapter is not participating in COB, they are not permitted to hold events or issue bids during this time.

Participating chapters plan and execute their own COB process and events. Chapters and potential new members (PNMs) are responsible for contacting each other to create opportunities to meet and become familiar with one another. Events differ but are typically casual and informal. Please note that all federal, state and local guidelines should be followed for Fall 2020 COB.

The following chapters are eligible for fall 2020 COB:

Delta Phi Epsilon – Abrianna Belvedere, VP of Recruitment

Gamma Phi Beta – Carlin Waddell, VP of Membership

Kappa Alpha Theta – Natalie Skopicki, Chief Recruiting Officer – crodztheta@gmail.com

Kappa Kappa Gamma – Madeline Jones, Membership Chairman – madeline.reese.jones@emory.edu

Pi Beta Phi – Halle Brown, VP of Recruitment

Sigma Delta Tau – Rachel Hackman, VP of Recruitment rachel.hackman@emory.edu

Please note: just because a chapter is eligible for COB does not mean that they will participate.
